Managing projects with Gantt Charts
Project management can sound grand and daunting, so many clients ask us to build development workshops on the subject. One of the most commonly asked questions on our project management workshops is “how is a project management to do list different to a Gantt chart?”
We find that the answer to this question is better shown than explained in a few words, so we’ve put together this little explainer video.
In summary, a Gantt chart is a horizontal bar chart that allows you to represent the steps in a project chronologically. Each step or activity is represented by a line placed in an appropriate time period when it should be undertaken and the chart shows the sequence of events as well as any tasks that can be underway at the same time.
