We’re not shy when it comes to blowing our own trumpet, we have amazing clients and deliver amazing work, but as we all know – a Non Disclosure Agreement drafted by a finance provider is as tight as they come. So we’re not exactly at liberty to name names!
But rest assured, our banking clients are either amongst the biggest in the industry or are the most exciting challenger banks to have graced our high street in quite a while.
Case Study 1: Bringing Bank Values to Life
A leading bank faced the challenge of effectively communicating and embedding its corporate values across the organisation. While the values were well-defined, they lacked tangible meaning and consistent application across different departments and levels. This lack of clarity and engagement hindered employee motivation, customer experience, and overall organisational performance.
Gathering insights and recommendations, we developed a series of engaging videos that brought the values to life, and helped colleagues consider ways to build them into their day-to-day working. We then collaborated with the bank’s internal communications team to plan and execute a successful launch of the values across the organisation.
This included creating a dedicated intranet portal with resources and materials related to the values, organising workshops and training sessions for employees to deepen their understanding and application of the values, and developing ongoing communication channels to reinforce the values, celebrate employee achievements, and highlight aligned practices.
The feedback was incredibly positive and demonstrated the power of a collaborative and human-centred approach to embedding corporate values. By actively involving stakeholders, gathering valuable insights, and creating engaging content, we successfully helped the bank bring its values to life, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive positive change across the organisation.
Case Study 2: Management Development
The common issue of people being promoted into management roles and not feeling prepared, hit this financial services firm very quickly as it grew. We were approached to help support the new managers, in both ways of coping with their new responsibilities and ensuring that they were delivering maximum performance with their teams.
To address the challenge, we embarked on a comprehensive project to understand the current management approaches: what was working and what was lacking. We began by conducting in-depth interviews and workshops with managers and executives across various departments.
Based on best practice management frameworks, which reflect FSQS standards, we built a development programme that targeted the areas identified in the business as most urgent. We also had a longer-term focus on management behaviours that would build sustainable performance growth for the future.
Ensuring the approach was cost-effective for the firm, we delivered a mix of externally facilitated programmes, and Train-the-Trainer sessions, so that some content could be delivered internally. Delegate feedback was focused on how pragmatic and useful the learning had been, so they could immediately apply skills and tools to their teams and see improvements.
