Consultancy – The Everything Else Page
Hmmm that is essentially what this page is for: the everything else.
Whilst the large majority of our work fits into assessment and development – from competency framework design to executive coaching, there are some projects that are a bit, well, different.
Take for example the client who had a new experience management system being implemented. They needed to build training for their managers on how to use the system.
That’s where we came in: translating the system experts’ technical manuals into everyday business language that suited the company brand and culture. We were facilitating the conversations, building materials and working across different teams, companies and suppliers, particularly when the client was pushed for time and resource, to get it all over the line ready for the launch date.
Or we could look at the company that needed to launch a series of corporate videos that educated staff worldwide on the functions of the business. Our role was to find out from a wide range of stakeholders what needed to go into the videos, and help ensure they were created on time and to the quality standard needed for a global rollout.
Restructures and redundancies are never a pleasant time. Our client wanted to offer support to Directors and Managers across the company, giving them suggestions on how to have conversations around the core redundancy process. How to lead people through change and uncertainty and look after their own wellbeing at the same time. The company wanted to make this a live event for the many hundreds of leaders involved, whilst being flexible for people who could not attend, so we worked with them to run mass events online that were also recorded.
Whilst in the examples above, we are not experts in experience management systems, or creating corporate videos, or running redundancy processes, we are expert facilitators. Facilitating as in making easy or making smooth the process needed to get from A to B. That is our strength.
